It is not possible to enter the world of digital, media, social media, without having disciplined this Self.
And a discipline, to be such, must first of all take place on various levels, all those in which the role of the Ego is invested, and must be forged with the fundamental tools of knowledge and technique. And as regards knowledge, of the means of communication and of the digital, we have already said about the specificity of this world, talking about McLuhan and his followers. And therefore the medium seen as the main agent of historical processes and a determining factor in the anthropological restructuring of the human species; and no longer as a mere instrument for obtaining something, in the manner of the conceptions derived from positivism, which divide between means and end, and perhaps see the newspaper, TV, social media as the instrument for the propagation of dominant ideas. But even more specifically we could talk about multimedia languages, and their "reshaping" peculiarity of cognitive faculties, of the way of thinking and in some ways of brain plasticity itself.
